Orangutan and Dayak Village River Cruise

The RP is 22 x 6 meter traditional Kalimantan river boat known as a “bis air”, which we converted into the beautiful boat for orangutan cruising she is today. Our design and specifications were implemented by teams of Indonesian master boat designers and engineers, using local craftsmen.

This cruise journeys to parts of Kalimantan where few tourists venture to experience the mighty rivers, lush rainforest, exotic flora and wildlife. The RP is a traditional wooden Kalimantan river boat known as a Rangkan.

Designed by a French marine architect, with building works overseen by a British boat builder, it took two years to convert the boat into a beautiful overnight vessel with 5 double cabins, 3 shared bathrooms and 2 open air upper decks for dining and relaxing.
